Do you remember the scene from the movie, "The Notebook", when she was sitting nude on the porch painting to her hearts content? She was completely free of societies expectations, loyalty to what others thought she should be. She was being true to herself.
Sometimes the expectations that surround us are created by others. An environment that we perceive to be the only way to live. Could it be that we change with the times? We adapt to survive, sacrificing ourselves to fit in. Perhaps we create the expectations for ourselves? Limiting our full potential, but for what cost? Maybe we don't want to believe how powerful we truly are? The capabilities that we can muster... What would the world be like if we ALL were functioning to our highest potential at the same time. Just one word...divinity.
